I bought a battery that has a bad cell. Went to return it, but the retail side is closed. I’m told they aren’t Pep Boys on that side. It wasn’t even 7pm and the door sign says open until 9pm. Pep boy says they close at 8pm. I said, it’s not even 7pm!?! FB page for Pep Boys Dover says they do retail. Website says they sell batteries. What do they do? Why can’t they post correct information, here and on their doors?

Here goes my shout out to the joke they call Pep Boys of Dover once again. I would personally never take my vehicles there however some people do unfortunately... mels car was taken up there for a front end shake/pull and uneven tire wear causing her to need new tires after she JUST GOT new tires there less than 6 months ago/ less than 10,000 miles ago. poor service and knowledge. the two times I've been there they have messed up and one of their mess up's cost me $1000 to fix somewhere else.
I had a nail in my tire and was told they can fix it but did not recommend it. Told me I had 4 dry rotted tires. They fixed it then I Left and went to price Honda they confirmed. My tires are fine!! That’s FRAUD! How many other people do you try to scam?? DOVER DELAWARE PEP BOYS NOPE. NEVER again.
Been sitting here for 3 hours for a tire change
CS is awful with an exception of the person that checked me in. No reason to make an appt for oil change, my appt was for 5 and did not take into bay until 5:39!!!
Never going back for anything. I had an appointment for 11am this morning. I was there for an hour and a half then asked for my key back and left. A lady that was still there was there at 8am and they still didn't bring her car back when I left. Anouther guy had an appointment at 10am and they brought his car back at noon. He waited for 2 hours. I will go to middletown walmart or camden where they have trained techs and is faster.
