I was signed in and into a room fast enough. But i saw about 10 different people who had 10 different opinions on my issue. Had an IV stuck into my arm for 5 hours. For no season. It wasnt hooked up at all. And then the nurses didn't give me anything for my condition to go home or make better. So I wasted 6 hours of my life for a $200 copay and no treatment for what was wrong with me. You almost killed me once hershey med, but next time I'll take my problem elsewhere.

Your emergency department is a joke. Waiting 4+ hours in a waiting room with other sick patients just to get a bed in a random hallway is NOT quality care! Then to poked 4 times in order to get an iv! Instead of building all these new state of the art building why don't you work on this catastrophe you call the er!!

I am so grateful for all the caring nurses and pediatric surgeons that Hershey has. My 5 week old daughter just recently had surgery here and my husband and I can not say enough good things about our experience. Thank you to all the nurses on floor 2 in the children's hospital you are all angles! And thank you to all the NICU doctors and nurses for taking care of my nephew who was born 9 1/2 weeks early and was life lioned to the NICU where he stayed for 6 weeks, without you who knows what the outcome would have been. Our wh... read more

I have been a patient here for 16 years with vascular problem. I had an aorta-femoral artery bypass 16 years ago. They have always been great for scheduling test and dr appts on the same day for me because I live 2 hours away. Yesterday I was there for a heart cath, , which turned out very good. The Drs and nurses, techs, everyone talks to you like a friend, not a number. My Dr.Ian Gilchrist. wonderful , friendly , and good Dr. My main nurse was Penny Alt RN. great, when she went out and told my husband the good news he even... read more

Billing department incompetent. Despite several phone calls to tell them how they should be billing, continue to get bills. Never followed up with promise to call me. Looking for a new health system.

The staff was great and friendly, but that doesn't matter when you MISDIAGNOSE MY DAMN PNEUMONIA!!!! I mean seriously I even told the nurse that checked me in, the first doctor that examined me, the second doctor that examined me, and the nurse that swabbed me for strept, that I thought it was pneumonia. All my symptoms matched but they still told me it was just a viral infection and didn't prescribe me any antibiotics. It's a damn good thing I went and saw a real doctor, who even though she only heard a little bit of distur... read more

I absolutely love Hershey medical Center. Never have I had a bad experience until tonight! My poor baby has been poked 9 times in hopes of getting an iv. Three tries at home with his nurse and another six tries tonight at Hershey. Two nurses tried and missed, the nurse supervisor comes in and tried twice. Never again will that butthole touch my baby. He yelled at My son for screaming, he yelled at My son for moving. He looked at me and said if he gets this done at home why does he act like this? This momma went off! I looked... read more

They turned my son away and let him die. John hopkins said if they would of helped him he could be alive today. Have no good for a place with no interest to helping someone in need. I will continue to let everyone no what a joke there system is.
