Love it and the workers, They are all striving to be the best in the business and they are getting there. Little by little. I love it. Plus the commercial is HILARIOUS!
I ordered food online to go from here. I haven't been in maybe 2 years mostly because I was burnt out on eating there so much. I ordered several things for my boyfriend and myself. But my entree was completely messed up. I ordered pad Thai with shrimp and extra vegetables. No egg. No cilantro. When I got home all I had was noodles, shrimp, and disgusting eggs. No extra veggies that i paid an extra dollar for. I threw it away. And this is why I won't eat at pei wei ever again.
I am a big Pei Wei Fan but tonight was a different experience. I was very disturbed when ordering, I asked the hostess if when preparing GF entrees, the chef started with a clean uncontaminated wok. She said "well, sometimes but not always." WHAT??? That is unacceptable! Cross-contamination after using soy sauce in a regular wok will make a dish immediately contaminated. Please help your wait staff and chefs understand how to safely prepare GF food. I want to be able to dine at Pei Wei without having to suffer side effects. ... read more
