Thai Dynamite is the best thing on the menu. I seriously think I could eat it everyday. Ridiculously fresh ingredients...great service every time I go...superb all the way around.
I've never had a bad experience at Pei-Wei before, but this time I ordered a combination fried rice with wontons. The wontons were awful tasting, couldn't even eat 1 tasted like raw crab (not that I've ever actually tasted raw crab before) but anyway, the fried rice tasted like fish for some reason and I had chicken and steak??? Not sure how to feel a bout it anymore!! They forgot my Chilli Paste as well!! I'll hesitate when ordering from here again!!
There is no point in ordering ahead of time. I ordered online 4 hours before I wanted to pick up, when I arrived they had not even started my order. I stood there for 20 minutes; longer than when I have dined there. I understand that this does happen at times, however 1) there were more employees than customers, 2) several people who arrived after me left with their order before me. Clearly customer service is not a concern; I will take my business somewhere that it is.
I called an order in tonight. The girl said it would be a 50 minute wait. I sat in the parking lot waiting. I finally went in a little earlier. Come to find out that our food had been sitting there with about 20 more orders. My noodles were so dried out! I couldn’t even get them to separate. So gross!! My daughters beef was discussing as well. Not sure if we will be back!
We’ve been fans of Pei Wei for many years, but the past 3 times we’ve been in, we’ve been told that there are no glass “glasses” for our beer. Each of the 3 servers who waited on us made excuses and / or said the glasses were not cold. This last time, I insisted on glasses and the guy went out back. He took over 4 minutes to come back out so I assume he actually had to run them through the dishwasher. They were hot when he brought them out. We are in this location a few times a month. Today was horrible. The place was filthy. Every table was dirty. The floor had food all over it and it had just opened. Not very busy yet around 11:30am. Went to get forks they both were dirty. I had the ramen. Normally pretty tasty. Today was like soup had so much sauce in it couldn't even eat it, I brought this up to some of the employees and they didn't seem to care. Very disappointing for a place we actually frequent and like.
First time ever at a Pei Wei, wish they were in Topeka, KS!
GREAT GLUTEN FREE SPICY SHRIMP DINNER!!! WILL BE BACK AGAIN!
