Our first day home from the hospital with our newborn was so stressful. I can’t say how much I appreciated being able to call Pediatric Associates of Alexandria for help when I was afraid there was something wrong with our daughter. A nurse called me back right away and way very helpful and reassuring. By the time we came in for our first appointment we felt much more confident, but it was still so great to be able to talk with a doctor and be sure our baby was ok.
We love PAA. The entire staff from front desk, to nurses, PAs, to physicians are all wonderful. The offices are always clean and professional and covid safe. Happy to have both of our kids as patients there!
We have always been very happy with the care our children have received at PAA. My husband and I are both healthcare providers and this is the practice we choose to take our children to due to the very knowledgeable and caring pediatricians. We have never been disappointed in their care and appreciate the flexible appointment times, nurses advice line, and Covid protocols ensuring the health and safety of our children.

Dr. Zakkak was so thorough during our lactation consult. She had a calm presence and alleviated all my concerns as a new mom.
I started going there 16 years ago with my oldest and which opened the door for my 11 year old to be a patient since birth and we always have a great experience. We are able to get everything that we need from the appointments without feeling like a number. The doctors are attentive, kind, and caring. I would definitely recommend it to family, friends, and even strangers looking to find a clinical home for their children.
