I attended the beginners course, which was a small group of 6. This was prefect as I felt I still got 1 to 1 attention, but also had the benefits of being in a group. Chris was approachable and knowledgeable. Certainly recommend this course to anyone wanting to stop relying on the auto function of the camera

Small group tuition maximum of 6 people. I attended a beginners course to get me off the Auto function. Chris was approachable and knowledgeable and had prepared notes relevant to each of our cameras, which in the past 5-6 weeks I have found invaluable to refer back to. Have I reverted back to the Auto function -no, but I have taken lots of photographs playing with settings on my camera without fear. We joined Chris for his Beginners Digital Photography course in the Peak District. We both really enjoyed the day and found it really helpful as we move from auto to using the manual settings. The personalised crib sheets for our cameras were particularly useful. I can recommend this course.

Chris knew all the best spots in the area for great pictures and helped me develop my composition and focusing techniques. Excellent course!

Both me and the wife signed up for the beginners course with Chris and it was great fun, educational and presented in such a way that made the journey from, 'auto with everything' through to, 'look what else your camera has to offer' easy to understand; particularly for me who was your typical all the gear and no idea sort of photographer.
