Sadly - I have fitted some PBS discs to the front of my Golf R. To my astonishment they are too big!! - when hot they have rubbed (and damaged) both my front calipers and pad carriers. Trying to make a warranty claim (capped at value of discs) is insanely hard and effectively requires me to have the car in the air with no brakes fitted for 2 to 3 weeks so my costs of taking a chance on this supplier (supposedly a 5 star supplier). 1) cost of discs - (apparently i get back IF my claim is successful - note i have photos of the... read more
Brakes are amazing have used for numerous track days and road driving and no fade and awesome stopping power
Great service and products with good advice - I switched to PBS own HC disks and Race spec pads on my trackday Megane R26 and it has transformed the braking performance - these components have just survived a brutal day at Donington GP circuit and being driven from home and back - a total of 350miles with about 50/50 split of track and road miles in the day - we were the last car off the track at 16:16 with 4 different drivers through the day - great fun!
PBS Pro Race pads are an absolute game changer, great initial bite from cold with a consistent pedal feel once up to temperature. This pads ability to stay consistent even when pushed to its limits is what makes it so good. I can’t wait to try the other brake compounds in the near future!
