My 3 year old goldendoodle stopped wanting to go outside, wouldn't climb stairs, run or jump. I took her to the vet several times, and they couldn't figure out what was wrong. They thought she may have injured herself and that she was nervous to resume her normal activities. I finally decided to try physical therapy in hopes that they could figure something out. I am so happy I did and wish I had sooner! They did a thorough evaluation and found she has a right iliopsoas strain. She quickly regained function with the therapy,... read more
Thank you so much for taking care of my sweetheart Chloe! You guys always make her feel so comfortable and I am noticing a significant difference since starting rehab
So glad I asked the vet about dog rehab. I didnt know it existed. Anyway my Yorkie Sophie had surgery last June for a torn ligament in her left rear leg. It's now March and she still was not walking, she drags herself, at best. Mostly I pick her up. She has been going to Pawsitive Paws for just three weeks and such great improvement. Evaluation appointment for my young golden with dysplasia and strained muscle (cannot remember the proper name right now). Dr Kern is amazing, super detailed in her explanations and demonstrations for what you need to do at home. Evaluation was incredibly thorough and he got his first laser therapy treatment too. He will be starting weekly appointments next week - so glad that I got him in while he is young. If you love your dog (or cat), and they have physical challenges, this is more than worth the time and investment.
Pawsitive Steps has been fantastic working with our Sammie Mix, Jessie. Jessie had FHO surgery on her right rear hip last April and has been going to Pawsitive Steps ever since. She LOVES going there and the techs are so good with her, even when she's being snarky!
If it weren't for the compassion and work of the girls at Pawsitive, I wouldn't have my dog still with me today. They gave me an extra year and counting! Even on days when I am cranky and my dog is distracted, they are still incredibly encouraging and positive. Pawsitive has helped so many of the pets I see every day, and everyone loves them!
