Excellent experience. I arrived at closing time with broken spectacles and they were extremely helpful and quick. Ended up buying spectacles and sunglasses both very stylish and we are very happy with them. Awesome service, would definitely recommend them.
My advice is to book an appointment with Paul Whiteman Opticians as their expertise and attention to detail is second to none. Right through from the comprehensive eye test to the choice of frame and fitting, nothing is too much trouble for the highly trained staff. I opted for Zeiss multifocals that are photochromic and I paid extra for the Individual specification lenses that are worth every penny. Thoroughly delighted to have my prescription sunglasses brought back from the dead today. I bought them from Paul Whiteman a couple of years back, then at the weekend accidentally rolled them up inside my tent (jumped up and down on it to try and fit the tent back into its sack) and only found them days later, frame twisted and one of the lenses popped out. First time visit to Paul Whiteman. I'd been experiencing a problem with my eye for some time, and previous eye tests at other places never seemed to be able to give me an explanation why and just prescribed me glasses.
