He is of course, very busy but takes the time to listen about my health issues. He has given me good advice regarding medications, has happily referred me to specialists who can treat my health problems. Also, his office staff have quickly responded to my needs when I need something in writing from him for other doctors to view. Both my wife and myself are patients and have been for about three years. Highly recommend.
I really like Dr. Hartsfield but his staff seems to be incapable of correctly relaying messages to him or even replying to me at all. They’ve all been very cordial but I feel like if I’m not in the office I don’t exist. I’ve been a patient for 2 years and all was fine until I developed some medical issues. So, I’ve had to switch to a new doctor.
Dr. Hartsfield has been my primary for over 10 years now. He is a very kind, patient Dr. and has always had time to talk to me during my visits. He has helped me tremendously with some of my health issues. Some of my family also sees Dr. Hartsfield. The Dr. is very down to earth, and actually listens to you, after all, who knows your body better than you do? If you are shopping around for a new Dr., think about choosing Dr. Hartsfield, you won't be sorry!!! PS: As of this writing, he is accepting new patients!!
You need to answer your telephone. I have tried for weeks and weeks to call and ask the nurse something about our medicine (Rx). When I call, the same recording plays over and over and will not allow us to go beyond that long, drawn-out recording. Patients sometimes have needs, so why don't you answer the phone and help us. My husband and I both like Dr. Hartsfield. He listens and we never feel rushed. And he’s been accurate with diagnoses every time. Also, the staff are excellent and friendly. Highly recommend!
Great listener. Extremely kind. Always begins each appointment with a pleasant entry into the room and asks how you are doing. Oddly enough many doctors don't have the capacity to be decent. He does. Arguably the best doctor I've ever had. But definitely the main catch with him is that he listens. HE ACTUALLY LISTENS. This characteristic seems to be very uncommon in the medical field these days.
I have had nothing but poor experiences with this office since becoming a patient about 3 years ago. It often takes 2-5 efforts of calling before you are even able to reach someone at the front desk. Do not bother leaving messages because they will not be returned, or if they are, it will be days later. I recently made 5 attempts to talk to someone regarding a referral and ended up making an appointment to talk to the doctor and was stuck with a $45 copay. Dr. Hartsfield is my husband and my PCP. He is the best. His office staff are also wonderful. Dr. Hartsfield follows up on everything for us. He is kind, he listens and does whatever he can for us when we are ill. We wanted to say and wish a Very Merry Christmas to him and staff.
