My son went there under student insurance. My wife and I finally had to pay them ourselves after a year of phone calls to them trying to get them to properly file insurance paperwork. Terrible business, go elsewhere!
I have been going there for several years. It very convenient for me to stop in and get checked out. The staff has always been very caring and nice.
I was shocked...First time I went to patient first when it was less than 2 hours.
Waited forever to see a doctor and then had her tell me she wanted to prevent me from getting a full blown sinus infection but didn't give me anything for it and my papers say tonsillitis and Pharyngitis. Woke up this morning at 5 am with a sinus migraine from hell that could have been avoided had she listened to me talk about my history of issues. I don't get colds or flus. I get upper respiratory infections every single time and I will not be coming back and will stick to Portsmouth Naval and their wait.
The doctor was very rude last week and gave me a medicine that does not work I requested to take what I know works and it was denied I will be finding somewhere else to go. Also they randomly decide to hit you with bills
Patient First and their low rent administration staff & "physician's assistants" are never worth the time and money you spend there. Today, my husband broke his foot and the frittata working the desk wouldn't let him be seen because he had one of those health insurance cards from your phone. What a moron, the REAL doctors offices take them. Also, I cannot tell you how many times they diagnosed bronchitis as a cold. They're literally the worst place to go in Hampton Roads.
