The place has employees who are unwilling to help you. When asked for help the lady was discriminating me as I wanted something specific. She was very rude and unhelpful. I wanted to purchase a couple of balloons for my sisters 50th birthday. Wanted to surprise her and decorate the outside of her house before she got home from work. Thought it would cheer her up because her husband was recently diagnosed with stage four cancer and she didn't want to celebrate. I'll never shop Party City again. I wanted a Bat Man costume for my 2 1/2 year old grandson in a hurry.Due to illness, I couldn't get to a store, so, I ordered online. The mailing charge was outrageous at $7.99, but I was desperate, so, I paid it.Disastrous decision. The item did not fit. A simple order of two balloon bouquets were recently placed for delivery. When the delivery arrived it was only one bouquet and we get an excuse saying the delivery driver picked up the order without talking to anyone. We were told the other bouquet would be delivered within the hour and so far its been 2 hrs since we notified the store on *********** in ***********, **. Horrible experience and last time doing business with this mediocre party store.
I put an order in on Dec. 16th with a promise date of Dec. 21st for three Christmas related purchases. Shipment was super fast, delivered on the 18th and products were awesome. I was never charged anything more than the amount at checkout and only once. There's many harsh reviews out there so I want to shine light on my experience which was grade At
Never have I ever dealt with such incompetent people. Placed a balloon order online with a specific delivery time. They send email back with a different time. Called the store 3 x and could not get a human- a recording says leave a message. No one calls back. Finally got a human after my 4th time and they kept me on hold for 30 minutes and never picked up!!!! I called to see if I can exchange an item without a receipt. The lady who answered was rude. Telling me that her associates ALWAYS ask for an Email or phone number. In this case her associate DID NOT ask me for either. She proceeded to tell me that they quit accepting taking returns on Halloween items. Not once did I mention returning an item. I wanted to EXCHANGE. All she could say was bring it in and Ill see what I can do. I wont shop there anymore!
Do not shop here. I made an online order for delivery. they never contacted me about delivering the items. I called the store 8 times and no-one answered. I chatted with customer service only to be told that the order was cancelled. I got NO email or notice that this was happening. Meanwhile my credit card was charged.I asked when the charge would be reversed, they told me to contact my bank.This strikes me as fraudulent behavior. Every year my two boys and I go to Party City in ****** ** to buy Halloween costumes and it's always been a good experience except for this last time. We walked into the store and it's bare, barley anything up in the store and there was no staff to be found? My one son found a costume he wanted but we couldn't find a worker so I decided to order it online and that has been a complete nightmare!
