I ordered items online that were not in stock at my local store. It turns out by ordering them online, they are not returnable. Even though they are sold in store exactly the same size/color etc.. as I ordered online, they are considered personalized items and not eligible for return. I could understand if I had actually personalized them with a size/color/lettering that is not sold in store, but thats not the case. I worked at a halloween city on 75th and ******** by the mall?? we had a marketing dude cover for our manager his name was *****?? i quit showing up because i was scheduled 16 hours a week and it was more of a loss than a gain to work there. I will never do business with you again. My 10 yr old will have no decorations for his birthday party in 2 days. You changed the shipping label address for an old address from 8 years ago that you had for rewards program. You messed with my child and lost my business. What company does this. They never provided the balloons for my enemy . They advise it will be delivered between 3 to 5 pm . I called at 5:20 pm , spoke to ***** supposedly a manager there and she advised that she couldnt help that the driver did not pick up . So she hired an Uber driver to drop off the balloons . Never showed up . This is ridiculous and very bad customer service. The event we t on with no balloons .

I think Party City engages in ageism in their hiring process under the guise of research. At the end of filling out an application for employment, there's a survey that asks if the applicant is over the age of 40.

Do NOT order online! You will NOT receive what you paid for nor a refund, or any help of any kind! We ordered our shipment of birthday supplies for our *************** birthday. We never received the package even though it was said to had been delivered. CLEARLY not to us!! The rep we got was not helpful at all nor did they care one bit we couldnt be receiving it. On May 3rd,2023 went to *************************************************** Party City location in lower Manhattan. I waited in line for 20 minutes with 15 - 20 customers who patiently waited to be checked out. A lady on the line commented there is one person at register helping people who ordered balloons taking a long time at register and it was obvious something was wrong and she needed help. I came into the store 5 mins before closing when the manager ***** approached me and asked me did I need balloons and I stated yes, she said we cant do than because its closing time.
