We loved working with Tim to buy our first home! We were pretty picky with our list of must-haves and he was always available on fairly short notice to show us houses. We chose a home that was being rented, so the closing process took quite awhile and in that waiting time there were many texts and calls from us with all the various questions and concerns that first time buyers have. When we found the property we wanted to buy, we realized that we needed to move fast as there were several other people looking at the house the same day we were. We gave Tim a call once we had the appointment, and Tim met us at the property with the paperwork ready to go, and we were able to submit our offer that day. I hope for your sake that you never rent from or have your property managed through Partners. Their response to maintenance requests is far from adequate. If your house is stuck without heat or any other necessary utility, they will NOT offer to set you up with temporary housing until the issue is dealt with, even though they are required by law to do so. The time I used them to manage my property, it was constant not doing repairs and difficulty getting ahold of anyone in the office. I experienced this as well as the tenants. I resumed occupancy of my home over a month ago and still can't get things settled. I was told over a month ago their security deposit would come to me as they didn't pay the final month's rent and damaged a lot in the home. Partners has yet to fulfill that. We rented from partners real estate for about 4 years. We rented a property, and it seemed great. the first winter being there the heater went out, we called a number searching for someone to come inspect the heater. Instead they filled our house with electric heaters to run until they could find parts is what the gentleman told us, but the repair guy said until the owners approve repairs. Contactng the owners of the property when they call or email. They have a hard time doing that. I've paid for every repair over the last 4 years which shows the tenants are not being held responsible as people break things ever so often. Being straightforward and honest would also go a long way to dealing with a challenging business.
