DO NOT GO – If you want Brassy, Orange hair, this is the place for you! I lived in the EV and had no idea where to go, I randomly chose Parlor after walking by because it looked cute inside. After working in a hair salon myself in Maryland, I know what looks good and what doesnt. scissor happy – My first time at this salon. Friendly service etc but extremely disappointed with haircut. The cut is exactly what I DID NOT want. I love my hair because of Hayden – If there was one place I could recommend to any New Yorker or tourist, I'd recommended "Parlor". The atmosphere speaks of a place that will pamper you and lavish you in beauty and comfort. The personnel at "Parlor" alone would convince me to go again and again. Tina @ Parlor – It was my first time at Parlor (co-worker of mine recommended Tina) and I just had to write a few words about my stylist Tina. A long story short, I got my color & cut done, brought in pictures and Tina listened and advised with her expertise. I got exactly what I asked for, plus her creative touch as a little extra. Another fantastic job on my highlights by Tina. I have been going to her for a year and have always been extememly satisfied. Not only does Tina do a great job with the color, she also gives me the best haircut I have had in years. She does exactly what I want and if I ask for her advice she is honest and helpful. I trust that I will walk out of Parlor looking the best I can. I can't imagine going to anyone else and I highly reccommend that you give her a chance to make your hair look fabulous.
Good service, no attitude – I've been going to Parlor off and on now for 4 years. Its definitely a trip downtown for me to get there but I do like the friendly staff, no-attitude vibe of the place. Awesome Cut from Tina – I just received the best cut from Tina. I would highly recommend her. She takes care to give you the best cut possible and pays attention to detail. The cut she gave me was the best I've had in years and will definitely be going back to her. She was very sweet and explained to me exactly what she would do and then did it. Great Customer Service – I was pretty amazed, at a newcomer stylist by the name of Tina. Not only did she give me a nice Chic cut but got the coloring just right for me! To boot, I got a nice massage while my hair was being dyed! Wow, I could have melted, that was a very nice touch! Kudos!
