Tina at Parlor – Tina Frauenhuber gives me fantastic haircuts. I've been going to her for about 2 years and she is consistently keeping me happy. I am a musician and I'm always changing my mind about what I want to do with my hair. Tina is never afraid to try new things and she always makes me look like a rockstar! I love Parlor! – I found Parlor by accident in a quest for a great colour and cut that would fit my student (read: tiny) budget. I have never looked back! I've had cuts by Katya and Carrie and colour by Katya. I couldn't recommend them more. They listen to what you want, go through endless pictures with you and actually deliver exactly what you asked for. I live in London but every time I'm in NYC, one of the first things I do is get myself to Parlor.
top notch service – Bravo! Creative style and great hair products. I have recommended several friends and they gave it rave reviews. It's worth the commute. Christina has great vision and concentration. She turned my shaggy do to a clean, easy to manage haircut. I trust my hair to her creativie hands.

Parlor is my Salon! – I have been going to Parlor for over a year now. I have tried pretty much every midclass/ upscale Salon in Manhattan and finally found what I was looking for. Tina Frauenhuber is my colorist and stylist at Parlor and does the most amazing color aswell style. She is extremely professional and accomodating. It wasn't until I went to Tina when I realized my hair could be the way I wanted it to be. Tina is a great person, fun to talk to, and when I tell her what I want she listens and gives me the cut I ask for. At the same time she applies her knowledge to improve the cut. I love going to Tina knowing I'll get what I want and that my hair will look good. There are no surprises. She makes it clear what she's about to do, makes sure you like it too, and always does a great job- with both cut and color.

BEWARE – Just got my hair cut here by Tina, and it is the worst haircut I've had in many years. I asked for a trim with layers in the front. The layers go to the back of my head, and she cut off much more than what I'd asked for. She basically did what she wanted, i.e. her own style, and I hate it. both sides aren't even the same length. Now I'm going to have to wait at least a year until it grows out. It is not expensive for a reason.
