Parklane surgery is an example of how GP surgeries should be run. Reception and nursing staff are so helpful and Dr Khaira is an approachable and exemplary GP. I cant recommend the practice enough!
Terrible communication. My doctor requested some blood tests, and one of the results came back abnormal. I had to wait three weeks for an appointment. They told me it would be a phone call appointment on 02/10/2024 at 11:50. However, nobody called me. While I was on the phone with them, I drove to the GP, and the receptionist said phone calls are often not on time. I have been a patient at this GP surgery for many years. While they face the same widespread issues as the rest of the NHS, they have consistently provided excellent care under challenging circumstances. My GP is always a pleasure to deal with—caring, well-informed, thorough, and equipped with a sense of humour and compassion often lacking in primary care. Park Lane has pretty much reached rock bottom. I somehow don't trust any 'good' reviews (unless theyre about the actual GP's). I work for East North Herts and 99% of patients I see are in absolute despair with this surgery. They (like me), cannot get through, get cut off, cannot get a GP F2F appointment, have no continuity provided and worst of all.....are the reception staff. In 'patient facing' roles, they are rude, abrupt, unsympathetic, unapproachable, harsh and it feels more like dealing with guard dogs. I apologize to ... read more
