Love it! – Great place, great food for great prices. The wait for tables can take a while.
Thursday night meal – A great option in the crowded Inner sunset restaurant scene. On the same street as Ebisu and House, Park Chow serves up a diverse blend of italian, Asian and American food for very reasonable prices.
Comfort Delux – An excellent place to escape on a cold evening. The staff was universally friendly -- even offering to replace my girlfriend's pants if a wine spot (spilled from a customer) could not be removed. Lots of interesting menu choices, the food arrived quickly but I didn't feel rushed. The hot choc cake is a must for cake lovers.
Fresh Food...so-so recipes – Park Chow is a cool neighborhood diner that offers food, fast and hot. Service is always friendly and the ambience is friendly/warm/very casual. I will eat here from time to time for convenience and economy, but the food is definitely unremarkable. Like its sunset cousin, this place thrives on serving fresh and healthy food with decent beer and ok wine. Great Food & Down-to-Earth Atmosphere – Everytime I eat at Park Chow I leave stuffed, but with plenty of money left in my pocket! The food is delicious, the portions are big, and the atmosphere is great - not stuffy or too trendy, very down-to-earth. Make sure you save room for dessert!
Warming Food in Sunset – Went to Park Chow for early dinner after trip to Golden Gate Park. Friendly service. Great Beer. I had the Thai Noodles, wife had Smile Noodles. Both were delicious. Nice warm meal for the chill outside.
good eats – yummy food. that's all i really want to say about it. the food had great taste not over the top. comforting to the mouth and stomach.
Yummy Chow! – This is a great, non-expensive restaurant. It's like going home when you are at Park Chow. The service is friendly, the food is good, with daily specials and great diversity (even for vegetarians like me), and the best part is the reasonable prices! I've taken everyone here - my parents, my friends, and my boyfriend, and everyone feels good here. In the wintertime, try to sit next to the fireplace.
eclectic comfort food – I agree this is a spot for some eclectic "comfort food"... cob salads, calamari/garbanzo bean appetizers/spaghetti with serious meatballs/thai nooldes/etc. The added bonus... heat lamps in the upstairs area. My only disappointment was the length of the menu. It was a little shorter and limited than I expected. But one once you taste the food, you'll realize they focus on quality, not quantity. Enjoy.
