Comfort Food with a healthy edge~ – Okay~ I loved this place! I stayed in San Francisco for 8 weeks while my son was in the hospital, ate at many different places, but went back to Park Chow because of its consistency. The food was not over done...it presented the flavors explained on the menu and had a cozy warm atmosphere; I ate their 8 times I believe and was very pleased...my favorite...the pork chops and the chicken dish...omg!!
Good after a visit to GG Park! – Went to Park Chow after an adventure at the California Academy of Sciences. Great spot after a visit to Golden Gate Park! The food was pretty good, nothing superb, but pretty decent. I ordered the Yellowtail sandwich which was a bit dry but great with Tartar Sauce. My cousin ordered one of the Pizzetes which was delicious!
Park Chow's Restaurant is janky ok tasting but the portions for the price were extremely small. got the flank steak and it was served on a plate that was for a 1/2 sized order that my date had, and for 16 bucks I expect to get at least 8 oz of meat! go here if you're not that hungry and want to spend over 30 bucks on a soso dinner.
Pretty place to hang out if you're hanging out in the Sunset. The prices are alright. The atmosphere is pretty and relaxing. It has a nice Sunday brunch/afternoon feel to it. Nice place ot hang out if you've just finished visiting the museums or Golden Gate park. They have nice heated lamps on their second floor. I like coming here if I want a quick dessert and drink with a friend. Good to go to if you have one of those weird afternoon dates. Great place to relax and get away from the cold Park Chow's is usually crowded and the parking is difficult. But the food is good. It offers a relax environment, upstairs is the best place to sit as it is not too noisy. Just about everything here is delicious. The Smiling Noodles is the best dish when is cold and foggy outside. I have been here for breakfast time and dinner time and the service and food are always excellent.
Good but had better This restaurant looks very small but opens up in the back. Plenty of sitting area so there were no lines. Located super close to golden gate park. The Thai Noodles are flavorful and recommended.
Park Chow's Park Chow's is usually pretty crowded and the parking is difficult to find unless you park on Lincoln Ave. But the food is definitely worth the wait! Park Chow's offers homestyle comfort meals as well as Asian fusion. Just about everything here is delicious. The noodle dishes are great and have a lot of flavor. The pizza also is good. The short ribs are super tender and fall off the bone.
Just Like Home – I love this place. It has a wonderful homey atmosphere. Nothing beats the fireplaces and tarp ceiling on the second floor. You have to order the shorts ribs... the meat falls off the bone and melt in you mouth. Not only do they have great food, it's one of the few pet friendly restaurants. There is a semi outdoor seating area where you can dine with your furry friends. They even provide water bowls on the floor. How cute is that?
Great food with great service – we came here on a weekend night and were seated promptly. the restaurant has two floors, so there are many tables to choose from. The food was amazing and the prices were very reasonable. i would recommend taking advantage of their daily specials (especially the meatball sandwich.. YUMM!!). Our waitress was very attentive and helpful.... I've come to Park Chow many times and have always left happy.
