I was dis-satisfied with Indra Energy. I started seeing my gas bill go up with Indra, so I cancelled the service. It was stated that it would take two billing cycles to no longer be charged with the services. My last month with them, my gas bill was so very high that I called Washington Gas in DC to get an explanation into why my bill was so high! In response to the customer’s complaint, we researched our records and confirmed that *** ****** ****** natural gas account began receiving natural gas on May 1, 2020, into our variable rate plan at an introductory rate of $0.34000 per therm for the first billing cycle, and a variable rate thereafter, with no guaranteed savings, contrary to the customer’s assumptions. They called BOTH of my daughters on their cell phones saying they had a past due bill with West Penn Power. My daughters do not deal with WPP at all never have. They called to warn me. I called the number back to find out who it was and couldn’t even understand her had to have her spell INDRA Energy. This is a complete scam and fraudulent.

Calls in violation of the TCPA, lies and claims they are Delmarva Power, offers a rate reduction and uses sales pressure tactics. I went through the process to find out who they really are, because they do not disclose this upfront. The bad thing, is they used Caller ID spoofing so that the call comes up as Delmarva Power with Delmarva's phone number. Indra Energy aka PALMco employs call centers in India to call your cellphone (which is violation of TCPA law if you are on Do-Not-Call list) and attempt to obtain your account number, name, and address (they already have your phone). These three things are sufficient to authorize a supplier switch. After obtaining the information, the scammer then calls the Indra signup phone line and connects you to it, so that you can authorize the transfer. They are a scam. I managed to figure that out right before I almost signed up! Stay away! I thought they sounded a little too good to be true and fortunately did some research online before I did.

Indra is a ripoff! I never paid more than $500/month for gas & electric. We have bills over $1,000/month for each of the last 2 months. In checking with PSE&G, I was informed that PSE&G would have charged $600/month less for the same amount of energy. My wife & I are in our 80s,and living on very limited income. There should be a way for us to recover this outrageous over pricing. From the amount of complaints, we should get together, get a lawyer and file a class action suit! **** *
