Good customer service is lacking obviously
Paducah Athletic Club has lost my business forever. I sent a cancellation notice by mail (I was told to do that since they had to close the doors during the pandemic) on April 1 and come to find out today from the manager, they had not actually cancelled my membership but “frozen it for three times instead of the two they were supposed to do.” He acted as if I should be grateful for that. As of writing this message 8/08/2020 Paducah Athletic Clubs inbox is still full from 2 months into the year. Paying customers are not allowed to leave messages.
First of all, I Hate giving a local business a bad review. I joined right before Covid and never used the gym even one time before it shut down. I went ahead and paid my monthly dues and an annual fee during the shut down because I was asked to support a local business and I was willing to do that thinking that this would be a short term thing. During the mandatory shut down caused by COVID-19 my children and I were there the night before the shutdown began. We didn't know the PAC was actually shutting down so we had planned on returning the next evening so we placed our pool toys and shower produces in a locker and locked it. Needless to say the owners I guess decided to remodel during the shutdown but did not post any announcements on their Facebook page or message any members about replace ALL the lockers which would give members the opportunity to make arrangem... read more

Ryan was anything but reasonable with me. I was told I could get a REFUND for the deposit of my sons Birthday party that was not able to happen due to the pandemic back in April. Today, it completely changes to no, all we can do is move the date or you can have the party here next year. Sure, take away my sons ability next year to decide where to have his Birthday party at. So, in the middle of this virus, knowing your establishment is closed and no one can access it, you continue to charge my son monthly membership fees of $41 and some change. Not only that, you direct debited his account TWICE this month, and I can't even call you because your phone isn't answered and goes directly to a fax machine.
