This casual Mexican features a vast expanse of tables in a lively interior festooned with crepe-paper streamers and fiesta decorations. Large fish tanks add even more color to the mix. Lunch hours are busy, but evenings find Paco's positively packed with a wide range of diners, from loners to family groups. In addition to burritos and customary combo plates, there's a bevy of meat and seafood selections and fresh tortillas prepared before your very eyes.

Great food. However, had a large group with 5 kids...they charged us for all adult drinks and when questioned, they said "you didn't order "kids" drinks, therefore you have to pay for adult drinks". In 10 years (& under) I've never had to say "they would like KIDS drinks please". Felt ripped off, don't know what you're paying for on bill, poor customer service. Plus added tip INTO credit card statement, not giving option to add tip afterwards (probably afraid they'd be paying for those "adult" drinks). Despite good food and ... read more
Great mexican food – Like a trip to old mexico, this restaurant has everything. Home made tortillas, excellent margaritas, great chips and salsa. I tried many menu items and liked them all. Then I tried the shrimp in garlic butter, and I was hooked. Now that is all that I order. Get there as early as you can. They fill up fast, and the best seats are up front. Avoid the tables in the back.
Horrible – I have no idea why people like this place. The food is soupy and bland. They put canned vegetables on the rice and beans (yeah the little cut up squared ones that i ate when i was 5) Most Mexican sit down restaurants in LA are just awful and overpriced. Maybe my tastes are more inclined to the tex-mex style restaurants of the mid west and east coast.
I don't know – i don't know what the hype is about for this place. Its not that good. Ive a lot better tacos like el tarino
Great Mexican food. – The lines can be long during dinner hours. The food is very good although we have noticed the prices creeping up quite a bit recently. The waitstaff is always attentive and the atmosphere is good with a Mexican family restruant feel. Parking is a hassle, only a few spaces in back and no parking at the restruant next door. You cant always count on the neighborhood streets and parking across the street at BofA is fine if you want to dodge traffic on Centinela. It is good food and value, the kids love the ... read more
The Best Mexican food in So Cal. – It's been years since I have been there but have not forgot those incredible homemade tortilla's and marinated carrots! I had forgotten the name since I haven't been there in about 10 years. I tried finding it today since my hubby and I were in the area, we ended up at another restaurant that was good but not what I was hoping for. If the owner considers more locations I recommend Palmdale! A great area for new restaurants and lots of people. We need a Paco's Taco's out here. Pleeaase!
Can't get enough – mmmmmmmm so good. I can't wait to again. I want to eat their salsa and carrots all night long. The food was excellent and atmosphere is cool. I take everyone there who is a visitor to LA. They love it!
Crowded. Great comfort food. Nice aquariums! – If you would like to have a chile relleno that is little bit different than usual, try this one. It is different in the kind of sauce or stew that is on it. They have about 5 different kinds of calamari plates. They have excellent queso fundido. They have the best home made fresh tortillas in town. They are family owned and operated. The setting is unique and interesting, particularly if you don't mind being surrounded by many dead animal carcuses that are taxidermied. Carne esa... read more
Tortillas over rated – For basic mexican, fun atmosphere and value, this can't be beat. But the tortillas everyone raves about are not great. More like indian style paratha than tortillas. To thick, too greasy and too flour/yeasty.
