Lots of folders on the floor everywhere in the tiny waiting area/office where people were working . No privacy , went in with some routine paperwork that needed verifying and was going to ask them to deal with a more complicated matter. Was a bit shocked at the casualness and disorder of the office , it didn’t inspire much confidence.so will be going somewhere else .
In a word - disgusted. These solicitors were holding my mum’s original Will. I attended the office with a copy of the Will, ID etc. Rather than showing empathy and support only days after my mums passing Helen Brown flicked through the Will laughing at the contents! She made the process far more difficult than it needed to be. I had to chase them almost daily and the telephone manner of the receptionist was abrupt and rude - obviously a trait required to work at PBS. I lodged a formal complaint with no response to date. Where do I start? First impression was that they are very antiquated…initial paperwork to sell my house was in writing and through the post! Why not electronic as quicker for me to complete plus cheaper for them?! Secondly about halfway through the process I was chasing a response to an email I’d sent and got no reply. Ended up phoning to be told that my legal representative wasn’t in…tried their other office and eventually found out they’d left…surely out of professional courtesy I should have been informed when I’m paying ... read more
Great service
Unprofessional. Slow response times to any sort of contact (if any response at all). Sheer lack of interest or compassion to circumstances. Had to correct them on no end of basic issues. Didn't work with a single business in the area that had a good word to say about them from the get go. Categorically wouldn't use EVER again. Save yourself the headache and avoid at all costs.
