Cool collection of history books but as an "oxfam veteran" when it comes to book hunting i'd say this shop stays in the pricey side. Nice lady at the counter.
Quite expensive for a bookshop but I'm happy to support a charity. The volunteer was pretty rude though - I wanted to pay for a book but remembered I had cash. Instead of stopping the card transaction, the lady at the till demanded that I just finish the transaction on card because it was already set up. I understand that it's a little annoying to cancel the transaction but I didn't think it needed the rudeness, plus I kinda of thought it would be better for the business to take cash rather than card because there's no card ... read more
Very happy to pick up a Birthday card here for only £2.49. A great, quirky collection of cards. The main stock is an excellent selection of second hand books sorted by genre. Great place to donate your old books for a great cause.
