Provided information and photos ahead of deadline and never heard another word from them. Doesnt seem like a legitimate business. Stay away from Ownwell.
I applied with Ownwell this year to appeal my property tax. I had great communication with them via e-mail. On looking on **************** I see they have already filed and an offer has been made. So far so good. This was my first time trying this service and this company. The online application was very easy and their fees are good too.
They get your information and sign you up then let you know via a later email. While we are unable to accept your protest in Brazos County this year, we're looking forward to helping you save money for this property next year.If you're still interested in protesting this year, you can follow our Do-It-Yourself Guide here, and you can always contact the Brazos Appraisal District for more information or assistance.What a joke! Waste of time.
Seem this company is a scam. They collected all the personal and property information. And now they are not responding to my calls or emails. They also took the online agreement to represent me in the property tax dispute. Its been 10 days no response. Now I left with no time to fill the property tax dispute. Because of this scam company I am going miss the deadline. I need to pay high taxes. Pls avoid this company.
Easy to use and so effective! The paperwork to do this myself was so confusing, but Ownwell did it all for me. It cost very little for me to save a lot. I’ll definitely do this again next year. Bonnie B.
