Good Service. No fee unless they save you on your taxes. Recommend them highly. I have had their service for 3 years.
The process was simple. The results are underwhelming. You did successfully get a reduction for me but the valuation is still extraordinarily high. Prob still 100k over valued. As much as I would like to see my home worth what you agreed with the Harris County it just will not command that price if I was to sell.The process is missing any hands-on analysis, deliverables to me about what was done, the comps used, inspections performed. Signing up was simple and straightforward. They lowered my estimated home value by thousands saving me hundreds of dollars on my property taxes.
First full year in a newly constructed home. Tax appraisal was well above what we paid for the home so I hired Ownwell to see if they could save me some money. They were successful in getting my new appraised value to match what we paid for the property. I don't know how hard that would have been for me to do on my own, but I probably wouldn't have even tried. I'll gladly split my tax savings 75/25 with Ownwell.
