In April 2025, I started an application with Ownwell to explore a property tax appeal but decided not to proceed after reading several negative reviews about the company. They have reduced my tax each year. Easy to work with and they know how to get a reduction of the appraised value.
Honestly, could not be HAPPIER with Ownwell... Was hesitant at first to let them fight the good fight on my sky high home valuation, but when my realtor stopped helping me with comps and data, I gave Ownwell the task. They got my valuation down almost $10K lower then their original estimate and saved me $700 in annual property taxes. WELL WORTH the 25% fee. THX OWNWELL!! Hope you're ready for next year!!
Very smooth and easy from start to finish. Even though I did not have any damages or other common reasons to request a tax reduction, Ownwell was able to get them reduced by $2603. Very pleased.

I used Ownwell this year because I had heard good things. I had moved back to ***** from ******** where I had previously tried to protest my real estate taxes with no luck so I was skeptical. The process was easy and took little effort on my part. Ownwell is very good about communicating and letting you know where they are in the process. They were able to save me over $400 and lower my recorded market value used to base your taxes on. I was very happy with the result.
