These people think that sitting on their tail heals these veterans suffering, waiting for help. My father is one of them. He is fixing to go cripple from a medicine that is supposed to "help". My mother went to er for breathing issues, was there over 4 hours and didnt even get seen by a dr. All he did was stick his head in the door. Where is the treatment, a little respest, and just maybe some professionalism..
I went to visit my brother in law here and was appalled. The bathrooms in his room was dirty dirty dirty. You would stick to the floor. His room was dirty. It very hard to see the condition of how our Veterans are be taking care of. I want to take him out of there to cleaner place. He is having a hard time breathing and they put him in a dirty room. Someone has to do something about this.
Always get treated with respect and dignity! Mental health and er are excellent!!
Push narcotics for years for pain, refuse them until levels get too bad to not. Now get to jump through hoops to get anything at all. Many so called doctors do not listen to what is being said to them, putting whatever they want into the notes not what is stated or discussed just so they can keep their rear ends covered.
My husband has been trying to fill his meds for over a week now! Very frustrating when he's been calling them for over a week and has not spoken to anyone, just answering machines! On another occasion we arrive 10 mins late (we live about 2hrs away) they could not work him in, so they tried to reschedule him. Went again today, got there an hour early, and waited an hour AFTER his schedule time due to the doctor seeing walk-ins?!?!?! This place really needs to get it together! I have no complaints. The care I've received here, is a blessing. I've come to the realization the the world do our you nothing . Iam thankful for those who pay for the care I recieve here.
I have been trying since last Monday to get a prescription refilled. Finely had to go to the VA and it took me two and a half Hrs. (Got the run around from stupid (can't be fired) A.. H....) My sugar was 350.
My husband is a patient at overton brooks they just cut his pain med in half it works with him why do this to him he is 71 has dementia tell me why i am going to see if anyone reads these messages
