Always waiting, why can't the VA get their act together! They tell you to be here at a certain time and then when you get there they say...oh we don't have anyone here at that time, but just wait two hours and then they will be here. Communication people!!
The only problem I have with OBVAMC is when your Dr or nurse enters their notes into your records there are always many comments that I the patient denied this or that and actually I was never asked about that subject I was not aware of this until I started using the MY Healthy Vet Website if you question it they seem to be affended.
First I would like to say 5 stars isn't enough. It's more like a 10 star hospital. My father just had knee surgery and I was totally happy with the services they provided him and his out-of-state family. They made us fill like we home. Thank you so much for the kind, loving service your hospital and staffs has shown my dad Mr James Ridley.
They are slow as molasses but they get the job done
Dental Clinic. Outstanding. Had teeth cleaned and dentist check me out. Wish I could remember their names but can't. Very nice and professional.
I transferred from Pensacola VA (which is a very nice complex) and found Overton Brooks VA to be much larger in patient numbers and the complex itself very aged with huge parking problems because of the vast number of patients. But that was my only negative because I found the staff and the doctors efficient and friendly and helped me get reinstated here in Shreveport.
Not the best but not worst.....the service is average but I guess it depends who is there and what mood they are in...I can only speak of the people I come on contact with that's the red team...... Trish, Colette,jerry, and my 3rd doctor within a year they all so a good job....love my nursea though
Was here a few days ago for a CAT scan and as usual, I am so impressed with Overton Brooks VA. The facility is great and improvements are on the way with additions in the process. Everyone I come in contact here are so nice..."EVERYONE!". Got my results the very next day. Thanks to all!
Had a urology appointment at 0900. Checked in and gave my sample, etc. Got my ultrasound. The tech said I would be next. Three hours later, not a peep. The best I could tell, the Dr has some sort of personal problem. She is taking her Dr coat off like she is about to go to lunch.......ARE YOU KIDDING ME?????!!!!!!
