I just want to praise and thank nurse Cherie and the doctors on the Advanced Heart Failure team. Cherie is the most loving, hardworking, compassionate nurse I have ever had the pleasure of meeting!!!! I'm so thankful that she watched over my sister.
I am very pleased at my recovery,to all the doctors and staff a job well done,also the nurses were great,because of all their effort to my recovery I am checking out ,ready for home.
Good to my mom who dedicated 43 years to Sentara Norfolk General and retired April 18, 2011. She was diagnosed with advanced endometriosis (uterine cancer) on Thursday. It's been devastating to my family but they took care of her and respected her wishes. Before coming home Sentara Hospice care made sure her hospital bed, feeding tray, wheelchair and anything else they could think she needed to be kept as comfortable as possible. Lauren, Ariel and Dr. Parks made my delivery a breeze. Ariel is one of the best nurses that I've ever had. She really loves her job and you can tell. I didn't want or need for anything while I waited. It was a great experience because of them. Thank you guys.

Good to be where I am supposed to be. A place that specializes in the heart. 11 hrs in the Hampton General Careplex ER I was totally disappointed to be sent home the same way I came in saying there was nothingt they cld do for me. What??? A hospital. Staff was excellent. Wasted time a double bil bcuz now I had to come to Norf Heart Hospital where they specialize in my condition CHF & everything else.
