RecommendedI'm on the edge here. nurses try aids are overwhelmed with too many pts. I never saw a hospitalist only a PA who doesn't listen to me. It took 4days to get a antibiotic and then I was kicked out on the 5th still sick. I've been through this pneumonia and copd ex many times and know what works for me, they should listen. I wish my own Dr would come here. Would not recommend for labor and delivery. Most of the nursing staff in the maternity ward was good, but there were a few of the nurses that had a bad attitude and absolutely no professionalism. One in particular yelled at my wife and threatened to physically push her down when we had pain and complications during recovery. this was several year ago, I hope that person is no longer in this field... Nurse Ratched with a linebackers build.
RecommendedMy primary care physician Dr. Waddy's office is located here. In my opinion, the best nurses and doctors around.
This is the 2nd time I’ve been here in a week due to the bad service I got the first time . And this time I was one of 2 people here and 2 hours later I am still waiting to go to the back !! This is ridiculous and I would not recommend this place to anyone ... even my worst enemy
Worst hospital. I had a used needle on my floor in my room , they are rude as hell & they keep doing stuff to my one day old baby I didn’t give them any permission to do! Not to mention a DOCTOR tried getting nasty with me over MY BABY so they can kick rocks!! Worst hospital ever! I will never deliver here again !!!!!
Go back to when they were Albemarle Hospital! Back then we had better nurses, doctors, better waiting times and NO attitudes. And we certainly had Doctors treating us NOT P.A.'s

RecommendedWasn’t feeling well and went there and I was in and out in 45 minutes. This is not the first time I’ve been there. This hospital is a great place to go when you’re not feeling well. The staff is 2nd best to none. Thank you Belle Harbour . Hope I never have to come back but if I do you’ll know it .💯🙏🏻👍🏻😷
RecommendedMy visit to Sentara Norfolk General on the 23rd at 2 in the morning was honestly the best emergency room visit and treatment I’ve ever had. I had some bleeding from a surgical site, and they got me to a room almost immediately. Despite being under their care until almost 6:30 am, I never heard one negative word from them about being in the workplace instead of being home, and everyone was very positive and supportive.
