The front desk was apparently angry at being there. She was impolite and short with us.
Went to the Boyne Valley clinic with abdominal pain. Very informative PA, explained everything wonderfully. Sent me to get a CT at OMH, also very nice tech there that talked me through each step. Then sent right over to the ER to get ready for surgery. All the nurses, techs, and Drs were great, answered all my questions. Recovery nurses were also great. Made it home the same day.
Thank you to the ICU staff for the care, concern and respect they gave to Dr Charles Russo's family. Loving, compassionate, respect was shown by each and every member of the OMH staff in the ICU unit. This was a difficult time softened by an environment filled with gentle empathy.
Took my girlfriend for an appointment today. We left from Cheboygan with time to spare. Ran into 2 snow squalls that slowed us down a bit. Arrived 7 minutes late. We were told by the receptionist that we would not be seen. My girl has been in pain and unable to barely walk, sleep and do the things she is used to doing. I demanded a copy of their tardiness policy and was told they did not have one, it was up to the Dr. (Dr. Smith), to decide not to see her.
