Wow not sure were to even start. Its unbelievable the care we haven't received while being here. Absolutely ridiculous! Not to mention the fact that I came here a few weeks ago I was pregnant came to the er with pain and was sent home without even being checked, no vitals, no nothing. IF YOU LIVE IN THE GALESBURG AREA I SUGGEST GOING TO MACOMB OR SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR MEDICAL CARE. THIS IS NOT THE PLACE! Been here for 14 hrs. and had even been offered water. I had had the worst experience with Brittany Simmons. She was hateful, uncaring, and didn't believe a word I said. She told me to eat healthy and lose weight after I complained about a new sharp stomach pain I'm having in my lower right stomach. It's been affecting my sleep, eating, and mobility for 2 weeks now. After I insisted I had pain she reluctantly did a ct scan and told me no abnormalities but I had an ovarian cyst. GOOD CARE. Just one time was maybe three months ago, when a young CPN listened to me, and prescribed 12-30mg Temazepam, which is the ONLY thing I have found that can beat my really tough case of insomnia. "Another entity" would not prescribe it, and I thought insomnia was going to kill me. I don't know how I made it to 76 years old, and I am getting the drug from that other entity now. My wife recently gave birth at OSF Galesburg and we were both treated like royalty during our stay. All of the nurses went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The labor and delivery rooms were nice, new, and clean. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
staff very concerning and helpful
My wife came in there and was in the icu and I have to say that hands down Danielle (dot) and Marisa were the 2 best employees on that floor! They made her stay very comfortable and conforted her when she needed it! They were absoluetly amazing! Thank you so much for and Marisa for ur act of kindness
You cannot see a real Dr. in the emergency room, just a nurse practitioner and all they did was x ray my ribs, even though in severe pain. She barely looked at the painful area and didn't even take the tape off to do that! Spent 3 or 4 hours waiting for help, and all i was told was take Tylenol, Motrin, and here is a muscle relaxer, which the pharmacist informed me i cannot take while driving as it will make me sleep. Also, told them i can barely bend over and cannot lift anything, which is my job, but we cannot recommend ti... read more
I normally don’t leave reviews but this staff deserves, at the very least a 5 star review. They had their A team working today. From admitting across the board to the x-ray tech. Everyone was awesome. Thank you!
