Get directionsIn my 20plus years as a Blo/No resident, I have had many occasions to visit OSF St. Joes. Nothing but positive reports from me, from the ER staff, to the lab staff, to the nurses et al. I have always experienced the highest level of professionalism and kindness from the staff. Thank you, St. Joes staff for making potentially difficult experiences more palatable! ☺
Once again, totally disgusted with the quality of care. I keep hoping it will get better, but it doesn't. OK, only person that had good patient care was our nurse, Doug
Happy National Nurses Day to all the wonder nurses at OSF. I was in RM 1018 4/23 to 4/25 my nurses were Megan,Mallory and Angel. You lady's are the best, even when I was awaken at 2:00 and 4:00 in morning ( Angel ). Having a heart attack was the worst but you three lady's are truly the best. THANK YOU DUANE
I had to take my 2 year old daughter to the ER tonight for an illness and the staff was amazing. We really liked them all but especially liked Jennifer and Sara. Jennifer was able to examine my baby without her crying which is a first for my lil one. They were all very gentle with my baby and very patient taking the time to talk to her and also to me about her care. I felt very confident with their care and appreciated all that they did to make my girl feel a little better. Thank you Ladies on Wednesday night shift, you are ... read more
This is from my friend Kristy who, because of her disease, could very well lose her life if she does not get treatment for a simple sinus infection. #fightforkristy "This is something on my heart and asking for help!!! Because of my rare disease the local hospital OSF has refused to treat me for a upper respiratory infection and sinus infection even though I have given them many ideas and paperwork on how to treat "the common cold" I'm not asking them to fix my Masto disease im asking them to let me feel better by giving me ... read more
I understand that it may not always be possible to see our primary physician at the exact time we need to and that is where the PAs and Nurse Practitioners come in the play however, neither my husband or myself have been able to see our primary in probably close to 2 years! The wait is usually over a month out. Today my husband called to schedule an appointment to be seen with ANYONE and they didn't have any appointments the rest of the month! How is that possible? I understand we can go to Prompt Care but they won't run all... read more
My husband and I have been patients of Bro-menn for many years. After my mother was absolutely ignored for 8 hrs in the ER there (and yes, we continually asked for someone to help her) and then we also had bad experiences there, we decided to go to St. Joseph's since our insurance finally accepted OSF as a provider. My husband has been seen twice and I have been seen once, all in the ER and the care that was given to us was beyond a positive experience! All the staff has been very nice and very caring! Keep up the great work... read more
