April and I had the best experience delivering our new baby at OSF. The nurses, staff and surgery team were not only excellent, but went above and beyond expectations. This is our third child so we feel like we know a great experience when we see one. We really can't say enough about our nurses, techs, and staff - especially Tina and Heather W. Thank you all.
Shout out to Nicole in outpatient labs this morning. Fastest, easiest, and least painful blood draw ever. In my life. I mean it! When she said " a little poke," she wasn't kidding.
In 1983 the semi truck I was driving and was pulling a tanker trailer got hit by a freight train and extremely foggy weather in El Paso Illinois. I was taken by ambulance to St. Joseph medical center in Bloomington illinois. My condition was very critical and did not expect to make it through the trauma. The staff and doctors at St. Joseph gave me the best care and nurse me back to health within a year. I highly recommend this hospital for their knowledge and compassion they give to their patients. Billing department needs MAJOR adjustments, including attitude. Their online bill pay is very inefficient and their support specialist are a complete joke. There's a huge disconnect internally with information and it takes months for issues to be resolved.
Great CCU staff!! They are super friendly and show the patients love and provide immediate responsive tender loving care!
My husband just had his second knee replacement in the past 3 months at OSF. Both surgeries went extremely well and I can't say enough good about the staff. The nurses and aides went above and beyond to give him the very best care possible. I can't even count how many times both of us were asked if there was anything we needed. I also had major surgery there in 2011 and the same was true then. Thank you, OSF, for making our hospitalizations the best possible.
The team of nurses that I had in the birthing center during my labor and delivery process were amazing!
The CCU nurses were awesome!!! Sunanda was so reassuring and put all our fears at ease! Thank you all for a job well done during an extremely scary time for us. We won't go anywhere else!
