I'm very happy with my stay at this hospital for four days. The Nurses, CNA's, surgery staff, DR's, cleaning staff, and everyone I was in contact with on floor 4 west were very professional and down to earth. They spoke to me on a human level so I could understand what I was going thru and what to expect during my time there. Thank you EVERYONE at OSF St. Anthony for making me comfortable and helping me thru my ordeal.
The staff was horrible, gossiping loudly about other patients in their lil pod but worst of all is NP Gill who was rude from the moment I arrived via ambulance, crying in pain and she in so many words called me a cry baby, made snide comments in the hall that I could here and I was in pain for an hr before they gave me anything and I left in pain. Filing a complaint. This is not my first bad experience at the ER at OSF and will NEVER go there again!
They neglect your health. Very poor timetable to treat your physical health.
All I can say is Fabulous. From the CCU from Sept 2nd to Sept 11th, then the Pediatric floor from September 11th til discharge on the 15th. Every staff member we came into contact with was wonderful. They took care of my son with love and compassion and loved on our family as well. The stay at the beginning was very scary but all his doctors and nurses were completely transparent with everything going on. ANY time I had a question or concern they were right there addressing it.
