Shands ER is by far the WORST facility! Their staff has absolutely no compassion for the people that come through that door. I took my mom in at 10:45AM. She was in excruciating pain, due to injuring her shoulder somehow and there was no relief and her shoulder kept spasming. It is very difficult to see someone you love in so much pain! We waited and waited. I went to the check-in desk twice and the second time I just broke down and asked them to please get someone out to help my mom.
