Always know I'm in good hands with orchard house. Medical problems are well triaged (from my own experience/opinion), which allows for patients to be seen quickly with the appropriate level of diagnosis.
I have been with Orchard House Surgery for about 25 years. It was then I great little Surgery and I was very impressed with my care. In recent years I did feel that there system had become overwhelmed and the queue for phoning and making appointments was impossible. However the new recent updated system of booking is very simple and easy , also freeing up receptionists time , so today when I called to ask if a had left my purse behind the receptionist was kind and had time to go and ask. Fantastic team very thorough at their job was seen asap
The new appointment system is great. I have used the system twice. Once by phoning in and once by filling in a short online form. Both work well. For my latest appointment I used the online form. Within a few minutes of submitting the form I had a phone call from one of the reception team offering me an appointment for the same morning. This seems very efficient and so much better than the old system. No more being told at one minute past eight that you are number 20 in the queue!
