Relaxed non-pretentious atmosphere. All the students / apprentices I had cuts done by over the last years were very considerate, responsive to my needs / requests, and did a good job. Very happy with the results, and easy on the wallet. Apparently the ONLY school for hair design with student service for the public at this point. Try it on!

I had high hopes for this place after reading great reviews so I gave it a couple tries. Although I saved a lot of money I wouldn't really recommend. First time I had a root colour with an instructor on a Sunday. I wasn't given a heads up that it would be just me and a male stylist of very few words in a silent studio--that was somewhat uncomfortable. Also it wasn't until after the appointment that he informed me that I couldn't pay by card as the machines were down and that I could either pay cash, or etransfer. Awkward! Bu... read more

Came in to get my hair cut a few weeks ago and none of the students were available so one of the teachers cut it. I usually don’t leave bad reviews but I have never had such a terrible hair cut and I left almost crying. I was somehow left with long bangs that look like they’ve been chopped with kids scissors instead of framing layers which is what I asked for. I also asked for long layers in the back which turned into a straight chop across the middle. The teacher was nice and the place was clean.

If you are looking for a very skilled and talented place learning haircut and styling no doubt you will not find any place better than Orane International College in Victoria.
