Over the six and half months Optimum Electronic Solutions have had my projector, there has been nothing but a sorry litany of sloppy, incompetent, desultory and heartlessly indifferent service that would make any Soviet era industrial organization look good for at least a one star rating. In Optimum's defence, they did tell me up front that there would be 'delays' because of Covid 19 and that the part would have to be sourced from Taiwan. Our machine arrived shrinked wrapped in shredded paper. The paper was dry but the machine was saturated when we unwrapped the plastic. All the components were moldy, each gasket and silicon part was covered in a blue mold. I called the company. They were neither concerned, nor apologetic, in fact they acted as though this was routine. I was concerned about the electronics sitting in water for so long, "It's a coffee machine, it's waterproof". they told me.
