If I could leave 0 stars I could. 4 months to do a remortgage. You can never get hold of anyone and the whole company is completely inept. Not fit for purpose at all. I’m having to pull it and pay for my own solicitor as this place is an absolute joke. Next is a complaint to the law society! They are that bad!!!
Awful. The whole process was very stressful and unorganised. Delay after delay after not being set up on their online system and having too resend my Mortgage Deed after the admin team couldn’t find it. Poor communication throughout and staff seemed in no rush to complete my mortgage leaving the completion 5 days later than expected. I would not recommend and would avoid at all costs.
My experience with Optima Legal has been smooth sailing, efficient and responsive. I was very surprised by the poor reviews on Google. This is my first time working with both Optima Legal and the mortgage lender. Save yourself grief and going with another, some of the worst customer service ever. Everything is 72 hours turn a round, no urgency and a lack of communication. Avoid.
They're being used by the people purchasing our flat and they're nearly costing us the purchase of our house. I plead with you, do not use them or HSBC who make you use them. Stear clear of both.
