Went to the ER under the direction of my doctor. Nursing staff was outstanding. Physicians are denying care citing a “complex medical history”. When a physician doesn’t care to learn about your condition those are the three words they use. I was told that they would be more than happy to treat me in the morning when they can verify my condition. So much for compassion and empathy
With every experience I've had at BMC, the staff, nurses, and doctors are committed to giving excellent care. Love how the receptionists give papers on how long of an appointment to expect, the entire hospital staff members are always friendly, and the doctors/nurses/students want to make your visit a great one.
BMC has always been my Hospital of choice for all of my healthcare for well over 25 years! My Primary care are there as is my surgeons if needed.. all of my care that I’ve gotten between my Primary care And Surgical procedures are all good experiences! Every nurse that I have dealt with at BMC has been Awesome!! I can’t say enough about BMC!! Went to the Emergency Room & it was down hill from there, security guards were just sitting around on their phones laughing watching videos. The wait was 2 hours & I waited another Half hour to get spoken to by a doctor who said I seemed " fine & could just have the flu/Virus " & waited another 45 minutes to get spoken to by another doctor to just look at me & say " you're fine you should just reevaluate your life style .. stress,dehydration, lack of sleep". My mom went for surgery this morning & we were greeted by the most wonderful Hospital Host, Raul Guzman, your hospital is very luck to have such a wonderful & kind person on board. Just thought BMC should know!
I have nothing but the absolute worst experiences when I come to this place. I wouldn’t even be here if I was able to convince the ambulance driver to take me somewhere else. I am considering moving to the North Shote to ensure no one in my family will ever be taken here again. And if I need further follow up I will be sure to go somewhere else. I am not even talking about one instance, 90% of my experiences have been terrible.
