Having dealt with Dr. Ioana Bica over the last 10 years I needed to let the Management of this hospital know that the ID unit generally and Dr.Bica specifically are the best in the business. Her kindness, compassion and empathy have helped to keep me alive a lot longer than I ever supposed. Empathy and doctors can often be opposite poles on a magnet. Dr. Bica has shown me that some doctors are just good people, too.
Boston Medical Center is the WORST hospital to go to. I had an appointment and I've been waiting for over an hour to be seen, now I understand it's a hospital and things happen but when you see/hear the doctors giggling and conversing in the back and leaving for 10/15mins and coming back with coffee and snacks there's a problem. I will never come back here again!
