Lodge is in a meadow on 6+acres at the Welcome to Sister Bay sign. Clean, friendly, well appointed, we offer fine accommodations at a reasonable cost, year round... Located minutes from beaches, state parks, biking, hiking, golf as well as the art, music and theater of Door County. Visit orchards, farm markets, wineries, or hang out at the pool or near the fireplace. We have added a Fitness Center for workouts which has an infrared sauna for muscle recovery.

Cleanest pool and hot tub in my opinion anywhere in Doo County and the best hospitality bar none.
The staff was top notch...from the initial call with John to inquire about vacancy to checking in with a mother/daughter duo that so kindly assisted in making sure the room we were in was perfect for our needs. The whole property was neat and tidy, the rooms were evidence that the staff takes their job seriously and the rates were very affordable. For the past several years my wife and I have stayed at the Open Hearth Lodge while attending Winterfest. We keep coming back again and again because it is clean, comfortable, cozy and close to restaurants, activities and other points of interest. But most of all, the staff are eager to go out of their way to ensure their guests are well taken care of. We highly recommend booking your stay at the Open Hearth Lodge! You won't regret it!
Awesome place to spend a girls weekend!!
Wonderful experience on a family visit with 6 adults, 8 kids, and 2 dogs, over Christmas, no less!!! Owners are wonderful! Property is very well maintained, great location, plenty of amenities, including free breakfast!! We loved it!! Will definitely return!!
Beautiful place, nice and clean room! We stayed here for our 3 year anniversary and loved it! It felt like something out of a hallmark movie. We sat by the bonfire pit in the back both nights and talked with other guests. It was a consensus that we all love the lodge and would want to come back. We plan to go back next year!
Very clean and reasonably priced. Have a fire pit with comfy patio furniture. Also a gas grill available if you want to cook outside. Lobby was cozy with fireplace and comfortable seating. Less than 5 minutes away from town and shopping. Would definitely go again.
