Lodge is in a meadow on 6+acres at the Welcome to Sister Bay sign. Clean, friendly, well appointed, we offer fine accommodations at a reasonable cost, year round... Located minutes from beaches, state parks, biking, hiking, golf as well as the art, music and theater of Door County. Visit orchards, farm markets, wineries, or hang out at the pool or near the fireplace. We have added a Fitness Center for workouts which has an infrared sauna for muscle recovery.

Great hotel. Our rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The owner and family were super friendly and helpful. Excellent place to stay.
I loved it here. Real cozy. Not hard to find at all. The beds are super comfy. Most importantly the people were friendly. We will come back.
RecommendedWe have stayed here twice now over Valentines Day weekend, and we love it! Everything is very clean, the staff is fantastic and I love the extra pillows! Beautiful lodge, with a super nice cozy feel. We dont even check other places now if we are heading to Door County. � Keep up the great work! We will be back!!
This is our go-to place in Door County. Wonderful natural views from our room. Welcoming atmosphere from owners, staff and other guests, and very affordable. ♡♡♡♡♡
We have been coming here for almost 30 years.... a Winter Get-A-Way we have enjoyed with four other couples....cross-country skiing (in our younger years)...shopping in Fish Creek...dining at Sister Bay Bowl (best fish fry in WI)..soothing achy bones in the pool and hot tub...sharing jokes, family stories, and our memories in front of the main room fireplace...or recently the bright, sunny warm breakfast room. We love the Open Hearth Lodge. We stay there every time we are in Door County. The owners John and Nora are wonderful. Love their continental breakfast which includes pancakes,hard boiled eggs, cereal,English muffins,juices and delicious Door County flavored coffee. Extremely clean with a great indoor pool and hot tub. All this for a reasonable price.
Friendly, quiet comfortable. Beds are comfortable, room was clean and shower was hot. Breakfast was nice Great having an iron in the room as well as a fridge. Hot tub was a great way to finish the day. All said, we will book again in the future.
