Lodge is in a meadow on 6+acres at the Welcome to Sister Bay sign. Clean, friendly, well appointed, we offer fine accommodations at a reasonable cost, year round... Located minutes from beaches, state parks, biking, hiking, golf as well as the art, music and theater of Door County. Visit orchards, farm markets, wineries, or hang out at the pool or near the fireplace. We have added a Fitness Center for workouts which has an infrared sauna for muscle recovery.

I broke my leg on the bike tour riding from Sturgeon Bay to Sister Bay. The owners, John and Nora, have been tremendously accommodating. They are just like family...only nicer! (That last comment is aimed at my sisters who talked me into this bike ride). Wouldn't change them for the world!
Open Hearth Lodge has proven twice to be my go-to place in Door County. Clean, spacious rooms with plenty of parking and a great spread at breakfast. Location is perfect, innkeepers are delightful, and their property is beautiful. You won't be disappointed!
Great and friendly people, clean rooms, comfortable beds, reasonable price. I found my new favorite place to stay when visiting door county. Would highly recommend!!! :-)
It was a very nice place to be! The people there and the entire lodge was wonderful.
So inviting. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. Great location. Everything is top notch. Most of all the owners and staff are the friendliest you'll find anywhere. Love this place and as far as I'm concerned it's the BEST place to stay in Door County!!
