Sold several times and never any problems. I usually bring in a big diaper box or 2 full of stuff and walk out later with $25-50. Sure, they are a little picky, but honestly with as much clothes as my kids have (I've worked for years at a children's clothing retailer) I'd rather get anything for my kids outgrown clothes than nothing - whatever doesn't sell I just donate elsewhere. Toy section could be better organized IMO, but otherwise I'm glad we have a Once Upon a Child in Rockford again.
They don't even go through everything and God forbid you have a small stain on something, cause they won't take it. This is not a resale shop, it's a ripoff.
First time I brought clothes offered me $70. Then when I went the second time they only gave me $30 back and one box back and it was the SAME boxes I brought the first time. Because I tried seeing if I could get more considering they were all name brand clothes. The whole staff has attitudes every time I talk to them and they all have lack of communication.
The store was organized and overall was clean. I did not like how the toys were organized it was just all thrown into random shelves and you could not see them at all. I also didn’t think the prices were great either or maybe just not consistent. Seemed like I could get brand new for some of the brands if I hit a good sale. That being said I did get a couple of things I thought were fair in price. I will stop in again but was just expecting better overall pricing I guess. Staff was very nice too.
First time selling and while they didn't take very much of what I brought in, they were friendly, courteous and honest about why they did/didn't take what I had. I waited about 1 hour for my items to be reviewed but that gave me plenty of time to browse the store. I found a beautiful Gymboree winter dress coat for my 4 yr old so although I didn't make much money, I am pleased with the selection they offer! We will be back!

Overall we've never been happy with the customer service. Most of the young girls that work there are unprofessional and leave some kindness to be desired. Some of them simply look like they are just "putting up" with customers. We tried to donate things there that were in perfect shape, and 70% of it was rejected.... while at the same time I've purchased items a couple times only to bring them home and notice they're ripped. Consistency would be nice.
Worst place ever to sale your clothes too, will never be going there again
