I wish I could give this hotel a higher rating, but... I stayed there for only two nights and during this time they were renovating which resulted in jack hammering on & off one day and the water being turned on/off the next day. The first morning I woke up, I pulled back the comforter and found a dinner plate size rather yucky brown smear and glob 'o hair underneath. I was there for a one day conference but did not stay overnight. The valet personnel were very helpful and friendly. The front desk staff, he (wish I had noted their names so they could be acknowledged) was friendly and helpful. They provide lunch for the Virginia Realtors Summit and Advocacy meeting and it was very good considering they were feeding 350+ people. Very satisfied.
Room was fine and not overly expensive. But the room cleaning staff was lacking (literally removed shampoo/conditioner/body wash from the tub which was used but had plenty left in it and did not replace it with anything) and the phone in the room did not work. Additionally the bed was hard and pillows were flat. Looking forward to going back home.
Great hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Quality bedding and nice rooms.
