Terrible experience overall. Never even got the simple glass of water I ordered and neither did my wife. Had to go to the bar to get my own beer after asking our waiter twice if it was ordered. Our server didn’t even bring us plates, silverware or napkins, we had to ask several times. Food sucked. Tasted like it was warmed up from days ago. And guess what, when all of our bills came, they were completely wrong. The waiter seemed like he could have cared less. I’ll never go back to this location again.
Horrible service. Awful food. Don't waste your time. Go somewhere else.

Lots of drama when it’s busy host/hostess don’t know where to seat you overheard a waitress that she wasn’t ready for a big party.

Been here several times and the service continues to stink. Wait over 20 min to get an order in; they are out of items; our waitress has disappeared and we’ve had to hunt down for a bill. We went this evening for a quick bite @ 6pm (not busy & several empty tables). We were told it was a 45 min wait as they were understaffed. I think we are officially done with OC DSM. Back to Ankeny we’ll go.

Terrible service. Restaurant was not busy at all, but is was still an hour and a half for two kids meals and a calzone. On top of that after we finally got our food, which was mediocre at best, the bill was wrong. Normally Old Chicago is very good, so just disappointed in the food and the service today. I am sure it will be better next time.

Very disappointed in the Restaurant. Food we got was good. But to wait 20 minutes after we ordered and have appetizers to tell us we have no mushrooms for the pizza we ordered and that you been out of stuffed manicotti. We did change the order to spaghetti with meatballs and the pizza was fine without the mushrooms. only to have half show up cold with the reordered part was very hot. We waited for service to come back to tell them but we was avoided i felt. Asked for boxes once the server came and left. food was good at home... read more
