Our experience here so far has been nothing short of amazing. Everyone here in the PICU has been very helpful and very empathetic to our situation. They explain things fully and are quick to answer any questions. The way they all handle JR has been so wonderful. Thank you all very much
I never write reviews, but I have to say if any kid had to experience a hospital, this would be the place to go. So caring. My niece got her own bear with mask to help her understand they were going to do that to her to make her sleepy. I also had my 2 year old daughter visit and they gave both the girls posicles. We left on Valentine's day today, and she got her own monkey, valentines cards, and chocolate. They even gave my daughter her own monkey, and chocolate as well!! We had an excellent experience in the emergent room. Treatment was awesome, doctors and nurses were caring and kind. All the support staff was great. Our little guy is homemand resting now, feeling much better.
We were treated with such respect and we felt like family. We even got hugs from the staff
I owe this hospital everything, they honestly are the reason my son is still here. My son has been cancer free from his neuroblastoma for 5 years and he actually looks forward to his yearly check ups with his oncologist, Dr. Thomas. Thanks to the amazing doctors and staff who made such a sad time in our lives as positive as possible. I always say, if I were to ever win the lottery, Doernbecher would be the first place I would give money to. ❤️
They were amazing when our son broke his neck.....
I am so grateful for such incredible doctors and nurses at OHSU Doernbecher that not only have taken amazing care of our Tricky Tibby (Patrick), but have also taken such great care of my daughter, myself and any other family member that has come in. For a baby to have had two heart surgeries already is so hard. It has been a rough 5+ months and these outstanding professionals have been so kind and supportive every step of the way. Patrick is such a blessing to us... how can thank you ever be enough?
